Echoes Foundation charity keeping fingers crossed for Million Pound Drop boost

Alex Brooker, the Paralympic Games presenter, has pledged half of any winnings from the show to the charity, which helps children with special needs in East Yorkshire.

Charity founder Claire Stockton is keeping her fingers crossed.
She said: "I am very, very nervous for Alex but the fact he has even thought of us is amazing. Of course we would love him to do really well but I don't want to get carried away and get my hopes up. If he doesn't I know he will have tried his best. He has got a heart of gold and he really knows what the charity is about."

“What a lovely thing to do, best of luck Alex.
Does anyone know if he is a local lad and if Echoe's is close to his heart for a reason?
Best info I have found on tinterwebs is that he graduated from Liverpool Uni and may be from Kent?”
