Meanwhile, in Sewerby, a burglar who climbed into a house through a window was chased off by a dog.
Detective Sergeant Gavin Orsborne said: "We want to reassure residents we are working to eradicate this issue.
"We have a team of detectives working solely on burglaries in Bridlington and they are joined by a team of high visibility PCSOs and PCs who will be on foot patrol around various locations.
"I urge you to approach these officers if you have any queries or would like to report anything to us. Chances are if you see something suspicious it probably is.
"Intelligence we gather from local residents could provide us with key information which could lead to us catching these criminals.
"I would also like to encourage any home owners who may have CCTV fitted to their properties to review their footage. There may be some evidence on your systems which could assist us in our investigations."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
