Fallen tree blocking Beverley road as high winds cause problems

High winds brought down a large tree branch which blocked one of Beverley's main routes.

Traffic was diverted after the branch broke off across Admiral Walker Road.

Police said there were no injuries or damage.

EYMS diverted its X46 and 180 school buses via Flemingate.

    “'Road in Beverley' might have been a little less worrying to many, than 'Beverley road'. Had many fearing travel out of city centre was going to be blocked.”
