Familes cut off by tide on beach near Primrose Valley
Two families had to be rescued after being cut off by the tide on a beach near Primrose Valley caravan park.
The holidaymakers from Glasgow were cut off by the incoming tide at the site near Filey yesterday evening.
They were rescued by the Filey lifeboat, with assistance from the search and rescue helicopter from RAF Leconfield.
No one was hurt.
