Samy's Snacks in Wiltshire Road, west Hull, has had a stereo, tools and food either taken or covered in detergents – damage which has cost him more than £1,300.
It is one of several businesses to have suffered along the road in the past week.

Mr Davies said: "I've been here three years and not once been burgled up until now.
"Each time I have improved the security and now have used Smartwater and UV pens.
"I also don't leave my stock in the van anymore.
"I refuse to be beaten."
The first break in happened on October 3, when the offenders got in through the front hatch and took some of the stock and electrical goods.
They also squirted detergents in the food freezer.
Mr Davies is not the only victim along the road.
Several other businesses, including EYG, have been broken into during the past week.
Chris George, joint managing director of the double- glazing firm, said an articulated lorry was broken into with a sat-nav, phone and cash taken last Thursday and two other vehicles were broken into on Wednesday evening.
He said: "I find it a coincidence we haven't had a break-in for several years, yet in Hull Fair week we have two. Someone might be targeting us, knowing that the blame could be put on Hull Fair.
"I will be interested to see if we suffer over the next few weeks."
Police have arrested two juveniles in relation to one of the break-ins of Samy's Snacks and have managed to recover some of the property.

“Don't take this the wrong way but it won't have anything to do with Hull Fair , think of what has been taken food and electrical equipment and a bit of vandalism , it'll be local teenagers walking through the estate , its nothing new , its just a shame that the fair lads get the blame , also who are the several businesses on the estate , its TWO not several”

“Best thing to do is wire the van to the mains, then when they come along and tamper with it they'll be in for a shock. Literally.”

“OK, maybe it isn't necessarily the fair folk themselves committing the crimes, but they do bring a lot of extended family (not everyone associated with the fair runs a massively expensive ride, some run grotty burger stalls who may be looking for some free stock and damaging the competition), and the fair itself is a magnet for scum and villany.”

“I cannot think WHY crime should increase in this area during Hull Fair week... Living in West Hull myself, the fact that we put everything that normally resides outside our property (patio furniture, garden ornaments etc) in our garage, for 2 weeks in October, is purely coincidental - honest. Well done Mr Davies. Your 'I refuse to be beaten' stance is good to hear. I just wish the perpetrators could be beaten. Soundly. What are the odds on the crime rate in this area falling dramatically next week?”

“Why blame the fair some of the rides cost hundreds of thousands why would they want to break into a snack bar and it only takes one local lowlife to do a break in.”

“Brandon... With the new legislation about burglary you can sit in the van with a baseball bat and beat the cr@p out of the offenders. Go for it mate. Scum like these only understand the pain of aversion theropy”

“Im not been funny but have you seen how much money the *****s at fair get every night? All dressed in their smart trainers and covered in gold chains and bracelets - Im sure they have enough tax free money of their own and enough burgers on the site withuot having to break into a buisness. Hope thats the last of the break ins for you”
