Female stand-up star in town
ANOTHER female comic who might just be snapping at Sarah Millican's heels in the years to come brings her debut UK tour to Scunthorpe.
If you have been watching 8 out of 10 Cats or Mock the Week over the past few months, you may have noticed a new comic voice – Katherine Ryan.
She brings her debut UK Tour, Nature's Candy, to Heslam Park Rugby Club tomorrow (Friday) at 8pm, courtesy of The Other Side Comedy Club.
Katherine, pictured, had the lead role of George in Campus (C4), was a regular in Episodes and appeared in Sky's Jack Dee's Don't Sit In The Front Row. She also featured in John Bishop's Only Joking (Sky), as well as Dave's One Night Stand (with Angelos Epithemiou). She was also part of Channel 4's "mash-up" night in the Deal Or No Deal 8 Out Of 10 Cats special.
