Ferens Art Gallery Open Exhibition: Deadline for entries is Wednesday
HULL: Professional and amateur artists are being urged to submit their entries for this year's Open Exhibition.
Entrants have until Wednesday to submit paintings, sketches and other artworks for possible inclusion in the exhibition, which runs from February 23 to April 28 at Ferens Art Gallery.
Artists can deliver artwork to the gallery from 10am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 1.30pm to 4pm on Sunday. Delivery of large or heavy works need to be arranged in advance.
Councillor Terry Geraghty, portfolio holder for leisure and culture, said: "The exhibition is always hugely successful with increased numbers of artists submitting artwork each year. I hope our local artists, young through to old will take part."
