Fifth straight loss for county squad
HUMBERSIDE Junior darts team were beaten for the fifth game in succession when they went down 8-7 at home to leaders Warwickshire in the Northern Youth League Central Division.
At their new venue of the Kingston Social Club, Beverley Road, the under-21s lost 3-2 despite a magnificent seventh win for teenager Joe Lickiss, who won 2-0 with an 18.91 average.

Man-of-the-match, however, was Alan Smirk, who also won 2-0 with 20.88. Smirk has now won five out of seven in this his final season and has also won 15 since the start in 2007.
Lewis Fisher has also been with the county since the start in 2007 and has won 13 under-18 games.
The 15-year-old was promoted to the under-21s for the first time, but lost 2-1.
The under-18s won 4-3 with man-of-the match 13-year-old Robbie Lickiss, the brother of Joe, with an identical 18.91 average. The Sydney Smith School pupil also won 2-0.
Ed Cunneyworth, Robert Thompson, and Daniel Ladley also won 2-0. Cunneyworth has now won all three of his games.
The women's under-21s lost 2-1 with Katie Ward the only winner with a 2-1 success and a 10.41 average. She has now won five out of seven.
Danielle Lickiss had to play on crutches because of a leg ailment and actually needed a 'runner' to collect her darts. Despite this valiant show she lost 2-0.
Meanwhile, Alan Adams won the reserve competition.
Humberside's eighth match is away to Nottinghamshire on March 21.
