Fight to save Leeds Children's Heart Unit is going to High Court
EAST YORKS: The judicial review case over whether a heart surgery unit serving children in East Yorkshire should be closed will be heard next week.
Save Our Surgery has challenged the Joint Committee of Primary Care Trusts' (JCPCT) decision to close Leeds Children's Heart Unit.
The hearing will take place in High Court in London on Monday and Tuesday
The case being brought by Save Our Surgery disputes the legality of the decision to remove paediatric cardiac services from Leeds.
