IF THERE'S one certainty in these very uncertain times, it's that 365 Solar is a company with big plans to remain the region's leading light in the renewables industry, with a continued commitment to being the biggest, best and most competitive renewables company in the area.

With showrooms at its King Edward Street head office, 365 Solar offers visitors the chance to call in and see how its various solar systems work.

"This is a developing and fast-changing industry," said Paul Rogers, one of the company's directors

"These are very challenging times, the Government seems to be doing its utmost to kill off the industry by slashing the feed-in tariffs (FIT) for solar PV."

And that's not all. From April 1, homes will also be required to present an Energy Performance Certificate proving their property meets the new eligibility rating of band D.

So to avoid further uncertainty, now is the time to get your solar PV installation carried out, said Mr Rogers. Even at the 21p rate, fantastic returns are available.

365 Solar can also offer the service of carrying energy-efficiency survey work and providing certification detailing the insulation band the house falls into.

The company has heavily invested in training and broadening the services it provides, so it is now able to offer solar thermal (hot water), ground and air-source heat pumps and biomass heating systems.

Paul Rogers said: "We, as a company, are committed to an ecological and sustainable way in which householder can receive free and low-cost heat and power for their homes.

"That is why we put a great deal of emphasis on training and research into developing new and upcoming products within the renewables industry."

Future detailed announcements will be made regarding the company's on-going developments, which include in-house training facilities for architects, surveyors and construction companies, giving them the know how and confidence to incorporate the various Renewable products into their domestic and commercial schemes.
