Flood alerts for parts of East Yorkshire after heavy rain

The Environment Agency has issued a number of flood alerts this morning after heavy rain throughout East Yorkshire.

The alerts are for parts of the River Derwent, in the Stamford Bridge and Pocklington areas, and The River Foulness near Market Weighton.

    Wet weather has been causing problems on the A63 this morning.

Rain is forecast to ease this afternoon, but more showers are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The wet weather has also been causing hazardous driving conditions on the A63 and elsewhere this morning.
