Forces day date set
SUBJECT to fundraising, the date of Sunday, July 7, has been set for next year's Beverley Armed Forces Day.
Chairman David Elvidge has been carrying out consultation with veterans, cadets and residents about what they would like to see at the annual event.
Already, Mr Elvidge has booked local band All Mod Cons who play the music of The Jam.
Organisers are looking for other local talent to support them and plan an early evening concert.
