Gang of men attacked woman in Bridlington street

BRIDLINGTON: A woman was attacked after a group of men chased her partner.

The 22-year-old was hit on the forehead after a gang of seven men got out of two cars which pulled alongside her and started chasing her partner.

As they did, one approached her and became aggressive, before hitting her.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault to come forward.

It happened as the couple walked near the junction of Quay Road and Victoria Road from 7.30pm to 8.15pm on September 20.
