Gary Megson favourite to replace Brown
Former Bolton manager Gary Megson has been made the bookies favourite to take the Hull City hotseat.
Bookmakers William Hill have slashed the odds for Megson to 2/1.

This has seen him overtake out-of-work Alan Curbishly as favourite, who is still second favourite at 3/1.
The speculation comes after Hull City boss Phil Brown was this morning relieved of his duties.
The club announced the move to put Brown on "gardening leave" this morning, the Tigers defeat to Arsenal at the KC Stadium.
Former Reading boss Steve Coppell is next at 4/1 and Middlesbrough's sacked manager Gareth Southgate is 11/2.
Current City caretaker manager Brian Horton is 8/1 along with ex-Wigan and Derby manager Paul Jewell.
Other names kicking about include Neil Warnock, Kevin Keegan and Ally McCoist, all at 16/1.
The bookmakers are also offering an outside chance of Tigers legend Dean Windass taking over at 50/1.

“You lot are moaning about a guy who ain't even in the job yet...you're only second division fans...low leaguers, that's all you'll ever be. Give the new guy a week or two and you'll be shouting for him to be out.
'This site is dire', somebody said, too true mate. What a load pheasant pluckers on here.”

“Anybody but Megson! Preferably Mark Hughes, but if not, then Steve Mclaren.”

“I don't believe that any Hull City fans have a good word to say about Gary Megson. He is a loser, a dull communicator and when presiding over poor performances with Bolton he was quick to blame the players, the fans, the pitch, the ref - never himself. We don't want him but I know of a guy who would be just right for the vacant position. He's in a tanning salon at North Ferriby right now and his name is Phil Brown.”
