Gentle signs one-year extension at Hull FC
HULL FC coach Peter Gentle has signed a one-year extension to his deal at the KC Stadium.
The news was revealed by club owner Adam Pearson at the club's Player of the Year awards dinner this afternoon.

Peter Gentle has signed a one-year contract extension at the KC Stadium.
It comes a day after the Aussie coach ended his first season in charge yesterday with a 36-10 victory over Castleford at the KC Stadium.
The Black and Whites finished the campaign in sixth place, meaning they have a home tie in the play-offs against Huddersfield Giants next Sunday.

Gentle, who joined Hull having being assistant coach at Wests Tigers, and for the Australian national team, is now contracted at the KC Stadium until the end of 2015.
At today's awards dinner, captain Andy Lynch was named the player of the year by coaching staff. Danny Houghton won players' player of the year, whilst Richard Whiting took the award voted for by fans.
Young player of the year was Ben Crooks, with the try of the season being Tom Briscoe's effort against Leeds at the KC Stadium.

“good to see gentle signing 4 an extra year sound coach roll on the play offs and see what comes of the new signings whoever they may be none ov gentles signings have let us down so i dont mind who he brings in they will do a job he wants them 2 do”
