Malcolm Watkinson, chairman of the Withernsea Lifeboat Fundraising Group, called for people across Holderness to take up the challenge.
He said: “This is our way of giving something back to the volunteer lifeboat crew who give up their time willingly to go to those in need at sea.”
Twenty teams can take part in the event, which will be held at Burstwick Country Golf Club. The cost is £80 per team of four players (men, ladies or mixed). The overall winner will take the Withernsea Lifeboat Golf Day Shield.
To round off the day, there will be a hog roast dinner, entertainment, cash prizes and a charity raffle from 7.15pm.
