Good news for dealer
MOTORING: Hull car dealership Jordans has become the UK's first dealer-owned Fiat "super centre" after undergoing a six-figure redevelopment.
The business, in Witham, has also added Fiat-owned marques Alfa Romeo, Chrysler and Jeep to its showroom.
The £300,000 work includes a total refit of the modern, glass- fronted showroom.
Managing director Peter Hasnip said the deal had come about after Fiat approached Jordans with a view to taking on the Alfa Romeo franchise.

But realising Stockhills – another car dealer in Hull – was about to relinquish its Chrysler and Jeep franchise to concentrate on Seat, the Italian company decided to invest in the business and bring its entire vehicle range to Hull.
As part of the move, the company's second- hand car business Motorcity has also been brought under the Jordans brand.
