A DRUG dealer from Goole has been jailed for six years.

Dean Raywood, 35, was caught in an undercover police sting.

Officers were sold class A drugs by Raywood on 20 separate occasions.

The dealer pleaded guilty at Hull Crown Court to selling heroin on 13 occasions and crack cocaine seven times.

The earliest charge was on February 20 last year and the latest on September 19.

Raywood, of Cottingham Street, was arrested by police on November 11.

He asked Judge Sheldon to take 48 further offences into consideration.

These included 38 counts of selling heroin, one of offering to sell heroin and nine of selling crack cocaine.

The earliest offence took place on March 28 last year and the latest on September 18.

Raywood was also charged with aggravated burglary, alongside another co-defendant Christina Williamson, 47.

Prosecutor Nicolas Adlington described how Williamson, of Eastgate, Doncaster, and Raywood forced their way into the home of their 56-year-old victim shortly after 10am on Sunday, October 21.

The court heard Raywood was wearing a balaclava.

The victim, who lived alone in Church Acres, near Goole, was forced into his kitchen and threatened with a carving knife by Williamson.

Raywood left the house with bank cards, cash and Tesco receipts.

The pair were arrested on a nearby riverbank and three £20 notes and three credit cards were found in Raywood's possession.

Nineteen wraps of cocaine were recovered from Raywood when he was interviewed.

He maintained they were for his own personal use.

Williamson admitted to being present at the property at the time of the burglary.

The court heard how Raywood had 22 previous convictions dating from 1987, including burglary, assault and possession of drugs.

Williamson had 22 previous convictions dating back 33 years.

These included drug and driving offences committed in 2004.

David Taylor, mitigating for Raywood, said the people who supplied him with drugs had made threats against him and his three children, aged 13, 15 and 18.

Raywood was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison for drug-dealing offences and two-and-a-half years for aggravated burglary.

Williamson was jailed for two-and-a-half years for aggravated burglary.

“Last time I saw a face like that, it was chewing a wasp. Did his Mum feed him with a catapult or something or perhaps his dad used him as a dartboard. I hope he is the one who has to pick up the soap.”
