Goole train delays after landslip at Hatfield

Train services at Goole are severely disrupted this morning following a landslip at Hatfield.

Emergency engineering works are currently being carried out due to the landslip at Hatfield and Stainforth, near Doncaster, which happened yesterday afternoon (Monday).

Services passing Goole, Brough, Scunthorpe and Hull have been affected.

Buses are currently replacing trains between Doncaster and Goole and Scunthorpe with journey times extended by up to 60 minutes.

Northern Rail services between Sheffield and Bridlington / Scarborough are being diverted via Selby, and will not call at Goole.

Northern Rail services between Doncaster and Scunthorpe are suspended.
