Green will leave Hull KR with good memories

As previously reported by the Mail, the Warriors will pay Rovers a fee of around £100,000 for the 25-year-old.

And whilst the stand-off is excited about his switch, he admits he will always look fondly on his time at Craven Park.
He said: "I'm really excited to be given the opportunity to play for Wigan. They are a great club with a proud history which I'm sure will only improve my game.

"I'd like to thank Neil Hudgell and Hull KR for the way they have treated me over the last two years and will leave them with only good memories and close friendships.
"I am looking forward to this new chapter in my playing career with Wigan and hope to play a key role over the next couple of seasons as the team look to build on recent successes."
Green joined Rovers at the end of the 2010 season from Canterbury Bulldogs and was awarded the Club's Player of the Year Trophy in 2011 scoring 12 tries in 27 appearances. But injuries blighted that record this season and he made just ten appearances.

“What good memories? and the most puzzling question is why do Wigan want him?”
