JIMMY Bullard did not train with the first team at Hull City's Cottingham training complex today.

The 31-year-old missed the 0-0 home draw with Portsmouth on Saturday with a shin problem picked up in the reserves' 2-1 defeat at Wigan last week.

He was at Mill House Woods Lane and undertook light training with the club's backroom staff.

But he was absent from the full training session which started later, which manager Phil Brown admitted has put his participation in Saturday's clash with Burnley under threat.

“Why would he have a scar on his knee if the gash was on his shin? And as he would have been playing in shin pads, the gash would have to be low on the shin as the rest would be protected. This area would be covered by his sock in the video.”

“Fact Jimmy Bullards has no scre on his knee. Unfortunately he got fluid which is a common acurance with people having knee surgery but it can also affect the healing that has taken place. watch this space for truth not rumours”

“Merlin 13.04; Agree that JB is possibly the chief cause of PD's demise. The non- transfers & the "pathetic fans" can't have helped either. JB's appearance/ or not on saturday will put the lie to one set of posters or the other. Bad knee= no show.”

“Baz I posted this last night and meant it, only to find today when I was looking back for something else that a poster had gone back two days to have a go.

Perhaps now would be a good point in time to put all of our trivial disagreements behind us.

This saga has divided posters like no other. Stances have been taken and positions held.

The PB and PD out camp have won the day and fair play to them.

I will freely admit that I believed that nothing would change this season. Those who said it would and I doubted, you where right, I was wrong.

The next stage is PB and I have already stated that after this morning he would struggle to have a future at the club. The only saving grace may be the relationship that he and AP had once.

Not every thing that is posted is a good read, but I for one will see tomorrow as a new day for this site and start afresh.

I enjoyed elements of the debate and am sure that other important subjects will divide the site at some point in the future.
Some on here accepted what I posted one did not. What can I do but try.”

“Dunno about anyone else, but I can no longer stand all the stuck up, sanctimonous, self-righteous big eds who come on here pontificating about who was right, who was wrong, who said this, who said that. Why don't you all stop twagging school and find another site to pollute. You really must lead sad lives if you have time to take the trouble to go back searching through 2 days old threads - man it's history, gone, burried, deceased, expired, it is no more, the parrot is dead.... of eck it's got to me now! UTT and PB until whenever when!”

“Must have been one hell of a gash, judging by the size of the bandage on it NOT, or he¿s one hell of a fast healer”
