HULL CITY: Striker on Tigers' radar ... but players have to leave first
HULL City hope to add up to three new faces to Nigel Pearson's squad in the coming weeks – and have made a new striker a priority.
But more players still need to leave the KC Stadium before the Tigers can bring in fresh blood for the new campaign.

Adam Pearson says City want to add 'pace and goals'.
Head of football operations Adam Pearson says City have identified 'specific targets' to add 'pace and goals' to the side.
But with City still falling short of reducing their wage bill to their £15m target, work still needs to be done.
However, Pearson remains hopeful of having at least one new face before City kick-off their Championship campaign against Swansea on August 7.
And he says the club could stretch to 'possibly three' new arrivals – given some extra income through sales.
"We know exactly who we would bring in if we had the resource to do so," Pearson told the Mail.
"There could be a new addition before the start of the season, but we would have to have generated some funds in the transfer market.
"At most we could possibly stretch to three new faces, but at the minute we are a way off being able to bring in one player, let alone three.
"We need to lower the wage bill and freshen the squad up as well. It needs some pace and some more goals in it."
Striker Kamel Ghilas still appears likely to leave in the coming days, despite difficult negotiations over a year-long loan to French side Arles-Avignon.
City are seeking a deal to remove his entire £16,000 a week salary for a season, which could leave some room for manoeuvre in the market.
"We are obviously looking at loans and free transfers on the whole, with maybe the odd cheap import from overseas," Pearson added.
"The squad is a bit short in certain areas. We are a bit short of goals from a consistent goal-scorer and we are a bit short of legs.
"Nigel has particularly good contacts in Portugal, but new arrivals will be few and far between, and very select."

“I was no glory fan. I've been going regularly since mid-late nineties, when I was about 17, I've had a pass whenever finances allowed except my travelling year - about 8 passes in 14 years. And yes, I was at Wembley, watching a Hull lad who I know and could empathise with bring our dreams to life. I too suffered from the glory fans and couldn't get to any away games during our first Prem year. The fact is, football is just stale. The players are, for the majority, overpaid, apathetic, materialistic celebs who care only about the sound of their own voice on Sky Sports News.
I get far more enjoyment watching men back up their talk in boxing or mma, they train harder than a couple of hours in a morning before going to Meadowhall in the personalised Range Rover.
Football is dying as a working class mans sport. It's a sit-down only, no swearing, no smoking, dont wave at the away fans its inciteful now get out waste of time and money. I will catch the occasional game and follow the news, but a hardcore fan no longer am I.”

“He's not wrong, Andy Evans was Bullards agent when he came to us, but was sacked straight after Jimmy did what he expected to be his last ever deal.
Ghilas not speaking English is a myth, he's not exactly brilliant at it, but he can certainly speak enough to get by.”

“Let's hope we can generate some funds by selling McShane and Fagan: Talk about under performers. Ambertigerfan, Derringham Bank
and Folan, if AP could do that he would be chairman of the season before a ball is kicked, no one wants or rates those spuds except Brown and Duffen talk about deadwood and a waste of space, yet Ghilas isn't good enough jeez.
