HULL City will hope to see a trio of players return for this Saturday's home clash with Arsenal.

Craig Fagan will be free after suspension whilst the previously ever-present pairing of Stephen Hunt and Andy Dawson will be available after missing yesterday's heavy 5-1 rout at Everton.

Dawson missed the match because of a bad bout of asthma, while Hunt's on-going foot injury needed some much-needed rest.

Manager Phil Brown explained: "Stephen Hunt's damage to his foot is one where it needs rest and fingers crossed he will have sufficient rest to play in the Arsenal game.

"Andy had a bad bout of asthma. A lot of people have tried to highlight Andy's limitations but for me, it's when he's not there you see how much you miss him."

Reflecting on Jimmy Bullard, who played an hour before being removed in his comeback.

Brown added: "Jimmy played 60 minutes in a very combative midfield and we had to make one or two changes tactically.

"Our three in midfield didn't get to grips with their three. Because of that they played a lot more football than we did."

“Ball watching, poor positional play, zonal marking, no tracking back, no actual tackling, no ball winning, no passion, no comitment, no decent forward play, no forwards NO POINTS!!!!

How many times could this have been said this season??? Too many....”

    “No-one commanding teh back four.
    No skipper in the middle.
Everyone I have heard agrees that the full backs came inside too easily.
We'd hve done better with Kilbane as centre back keeping the back four in order.”

“Have just finished watching the Everton game for the second time, must be a sadist!!. We have not got a decent fullback at the club.Against Everton we had both fullbacks trying to play in the middle thus giving so much space to their wide players. No wonder we got murdered. Like Phil, Hessles 4-4-2 team.Play Marney at RB against Arsenal Ihave thought all along he could be turned into a good defender. Lets have a look at him, he may be a revalation. We certainly need some divine help. Any way having said all this i have not given up on the Tigers. We will stay up.”
