HULL CITY: We'll fire Tigers up the Championship table, says Bostock
JOHN Bostock has reassured fans that Hull City's new-look attack will ignite – sooner rather than later – to fire the Tigers up the Championship.
The 18-year-old playmaker arrived on a season-long loan from Spurs last month and has been joined in the City attacking ranks by creative midfielder Robert Koren and striker Jay Simpson.

Hull City's John Bostock.
Although Bostock's debut brought a stunning goal and a 2-0 victory over Swansea on the opening day, City have since lacked a cutting edge during a run of four games without a win.
It leaves City in need of inspiration when they travel to in-form Cardiff on Saturday but Bostock is confident that Nigel Pearson's plans will come together.
"We've brought in a few new players, myself, Robbie Koren and Jay Simpson, that's basically our whole attack," Bostock told the Mail.
"It's going to take a little while for us to come together but I know we'll get there. We're working very hard and I'm sure we'll succeed."
Simpson, in particular, has struggled to make an impact following his £800,000 switch from Arsenal three weeks ago.
Two starts against Watford and Brentford failed to bring a goal and rookie Mark Cullen was then given the nod ahead of Simpson in the 3-1 defeat at Doncaster.
The 21-year-old has been through a turbulent week having returned to London for the birth of his first child but Bostock is backing Simpson to emerge as a figurehead of the Tigers' attack.
"We haven't seen the best of Jay Simpson yet, not by a long way," said Bostock.
"It's a new start for him and he hardly played any games before he came up here.
"With me, I had the England under-19s before the season started, so it's been much easier for me.
"Jay is a natural goalscorer, you only have to look at his record. He's scored goals at big clubs.
"He did well at West Brom and QPR so you know he's definitely got the ability.
"It's our job to give him the service because we know that if he gets the chances, he will score goals."
Bostock himself is another rookie facing a fresh challenge at the KC Stadium this season.
His season-long loan from Spurs was only confirmed on the eve of the Championship kick-off but he admits he has quickly settled into his new surroundings.
The 18-year-old received a warm welcome from the Beverley branch of the Official Supporters Club this week when taking part in a question and answer session with fans.
And living outside of London for the first time, Bostock has been grateful for the reception.
"I'm settling in really well," he added. "It's different to London so it's a bit of a change but I'm really enjoying it.
"The players, the staff, and even the fans, have been really welcoming so it's been an easy transition for me.
"I keep my focus on football so you haven't really got time to be missing your friends and family.
"You miss the people you love but I'm here for a purpose."
