“We are in Freefall Guys and thier aint no getting away from it...Spare me the "Blind Faith" merchants, only a realistic approach (tough love) can sort City Out. we have seen dozens of once great sides hit rock bottom and City are no different, Some bounce back (Leeds)...Some Dont...(Oxford)...remember that team who used to wallop us every game in the Eighties?...Lets hope we are not the latter”

“Stop the excuses guys, you reap what you sow in all walks of life, particularly in football.
Face the honest truth, apart from JB, who hardly ever plays anyway, we ain't got even one top quality player in the sqaud. It's a mixture of has beens, journeymen type players and old crocks like ashbee and barmby.
We lack real pace in all areas, and we can't rely on young kids who are still learning the game.
That leaves us with the garbage that has failed us for more than 18 months now and we'll continue to spirall to obscurity.
Funny how at the start of the season, ashbee was supposed to be our svaiour, now it's finally dawni g on even his most ardent supporters that he's finished. You can't come back from the injury he had at his age and make a difference, as far better players than him have found out.
We're as good as relegated c os we won't win away, and the KC is no fortress.”

“I wonder, will we need yet another "Great Escape"? Who will be our saviour this season? Must stay positive but it does not look good on any front right now! Hope NP gets well soon. Maybe a pleasant surprise awaits us on Tuesday”

“Once again, poor team selection, coupled with a crass lack of fitness sends us into a spiral of defeat. Ashbee was well off the pace and that makes his lack of quality all the more pronounced ¿ the fact that he sometimes seemed to be our best midfielder simply shows how bad the rest were.

Yes Gardner had a poor game, but to leave him out when he is so clearly the best CB we have, is simply stupid. The loss of McShane was all too clear ¿ despite his poor reputation from some posters. Garcia was a waste of space and Bostock needs confidence around him. Simpson is a poor indication of Arsenal¿s training regime.

So, there is no place in the team¿s future for Halmosi. It is very hard to see how that has been decided ¿ can he really be worse than what we have been watching? Zayatte¿s fitness is wasted at CB.

Then we have the Curate¿s Egg that is Matt Duke; sure he played well in parts but overall it was simply poor goalkeeping; difficult to judge though, as his back four where more of a threat than a defence.

There are problems in playing our best eleven, in having all of the right players available at the same time and another management team fixated on isolating ill-equipped strikers up front on their own. Barmby showed what tenacity and link-play can achieve but his engine has it limitations and would be better used as a impact sub ¿ but I can see why it is felt he must start ¿ fitness levels are simply appalling. Get the fitness right and players can raise their game, leave them as they are and they will be constantly be chasing it.

I know many disagree, but get the fitness levels up to that required of a professional footballer and we have a team to compete; get the injured back into contention and we have a decent team who will threaten at the other end of the table and then get Jimmy Bullard involved and other players will realise that passing a ball to where you intend and receiving a well timed ball are the real delights of the game. To do that it will help if they are not breathing through their rear ends!”
