HULL FC Exclusive: Burnett to become Hull's first dual registered player
MIKE Burnett will become Hull FC's first-ever dual registered player this week and will sign a contract with Championship club Sheffield Eagles, the Mail understands.
It is thought the second-row forward could even make his debut for the Eagles Friday night against Dewsbury Rams, and is he expected to be left out the Hull side to face Bradford on Friday.

On his way to Sheffield: Mike Burnett
The deal will allow Burnett to play for the Eagles when not selected by Hull this season.
With a difficult Easter period approaching, Hull do not want to release any players on loan.
However, the dual contract system introduced by the Rugby Football League this year, allows clubs to let players play for other sides, but be free for an instant recall if necessary.
A loan deal prevents a player being recalled until the end of the initial first month.
Burnett has spent the past two weekends playing at prop for the under-20s after being dropped following his solitary first team appearance in the defeat at Crusaders.

“Pete, Scotts come on leaps and bounds since his return to KR, his defensive game has improved and his line speed is better. As for Joel (notice the spelling) 70 metre average for a guy whose only played a couple of games isn't bad, when he learns the new plays and where his team mates want him, then I'm sure he'll come good. As for Cooke, well all of a sudden he's great again, according to most of you lot you couldn't wait to get rid as he was a bad influence. Now he may be off somewhere else he's great again, just shows some of the jealousy and bitterness you lot have towards KR. I don't know about Mills, he's just lazy and uninterested, bit like Radford.”

“Carl What i have read on here with your post`s thats all you put down a load of rubbish...notice you never mentioned Mills,And dont forget it was Morgan that said your four marquee players was the last pieces of the Jigsaw,Well according to most Rovers fans on here and 606 think Jolene is nothing special,And Wheeldon spent 3 yrars at Hull learning his trade and as gone backwards since joining the great crusade abit like the great P.Cooke...Now whatch him go under a proper coach,As Newton picked your team for the week end yet?”

“Pete, Wheeldon, is a young prop of 23 years old, how can you judge his capabilities on that. I seem t recall he had a decent season the last season he was at FC. ratu is also young and learning the game at a higher level. Cook given game time is a good player. Learn a bit of knowledge of the game before you make comments on players of the hardest game in the world, so you don't look so daft.”
