HULL FC: Manu gets RFL warning
HULL FC's Willie Manu has been given a caution by the RFL for using his knees on Matt Gidley as the St Helens centre scored his side's first try in their 32-12 defeat.
But the Tongan second rower will face no further action from the match-review panel.

“If no contact was made then how do you explain that immediately afterwards Gidley had his head bandaged?”

“He has been cautioned because he missed. The RFL have warned him he will be banned next time unless he makes contact.”

“if the rfl are taking no further action why comment on it in the 1st place...i watched the game and saw no malice in the tackle by manu.....stop trying to making a mountain out of a mole hill rfl......last time the mighty west hull red will speak up for the dullers!!”

“yes such a cowardly act, reminded me of the numerous times that cockayne, brent webb, paul wellens and numerous others have gone in with their knees or studs raised to stop a player grounding the ball and had no caution or even notice from the rfl”
