LEE Radford has ended speculation about his future by signing a new two-year contract at Hull FC.

The out of contract forward has been the source of much media speculation in recent weeks after initially rejecting a one-year offer from the Black and Whites.

However, the two parties have now reached an agreement with Radford signing a two year contract as well as being given the position of the club's new under-15s coach.

"Obviously I am delighted to have secured my future with Hull FC. I have really enjoyed my rugby this year and when you look at the additions we have made to this year's squad and Richard's plans for the future it really excites me and I want to be part of that squad, challenging for honours," said Radford.

"When you look at the injuries particularly to Sean (Long) and Richard (Horne) this year I think it is a credit to the squad that we are where we are in the league and we have got an opportunity on Saturday to take that fourth spot.

"Hopefully we can get that result and secure that fourth spot at the end of the regular season."

While it is yet to be confirmed by the club, Radford is now expected to be awarded a testimonial with FC after playing over 300 Super League games.

The deal ends a long drawn out saga, which has seen the club captain always speak privately of his desire to stay at Hull despite being linked with a move to Hull KR.

Hull will now hope to tie up a deal for fellow out of contract forward Ewan Dowes.

“Hey Bazza, I try my best with spelling, punctuation and grammar! Can't all be Ivy league scholars like you.
Couple of things: Where is the question mark at the end of your second sentance? There are too many commas in there as well.
Last time I praise an FC player.”

“Is it me, or do any of the posts on these pages from dobbins supporters actually make any sense?
Judging from the spelling, the grammar, and the punctuation, or lack of it, did any of them ever attend school:-)
Maybe they did and maybe they're just thickos. Guess that's why they all end up at the bottom end of the gene pool in East Hull?”
