“Dear General, The idea of having a comments facility, is to allow people to make comments and express their views. I am exercising my democratic right to convey my views via this valuable conduit, although I notice some of my earlier postings apropos this scarecrow have been removed. If I made these comments in a public house I would probably be beaten up, likely as not by someone like you who cares about this nonsense. I mean honestly, expecting to be paid money for running up and down a field witha ball under your arm”

“No that's just the very thing, I was often requested to participate in the futile sporting activites that I find so abhorrent. I couldn't understand why people felt so strongly about it. They fight each other if their teams don't win, they shout all manner of filthy bile against their opposing team. All because some brain dead cabbage is beating the equally intellectually challenged trogledyte they support., it's pathetic nonesense. Also, take a look at the subject of the story, he makes Worzel Gummidge look like Brad Pitt. I presume, General from Hedon , you are one of the tedious twerps that actually draws some pleasure from this waste of energy.”

“Who the hell is interested in a scruffy idiot who runs up and down a field with a ball under his arm. I would be embarrassed to own up to earning a living doing that. What's more he's from Wigan. If he plays for Hull, shouldn't at least come from here, or live here? All competitive sport is puerile rubbish, and anyone who earns money by hitting, kicking, whacking a ball with a stick or any other socially non-contributory exercise should be ashamed of themselves”
