HULL FC: There'll be no hangover, says Agar
RICHARD Agar says he is confident there will be no hangover from his Hull FC side this week following their memorable victory at St Helens.
Hull make their seasonal home bow in Super League on Friday, when Huddersfield Giants arrive at the KC Stadium.

Richard Agar believes his side will suffer no ill effects from their victory at St Helens
Expectancy has risen from fans and media alike following the Black and Whites' convincing 32-12 victory at Knowsley Road against a Saints side who had reached four successive Grand Finals.
Agar is aware a similar expect- ation greeted Hull last season following their five-match unbeaten start to the campaign, a run that saw the side win just five of their remaining 22 games in the fixture list.
And he says that while defeats will inevitably come this season, his new crop of players will make sure Hull will be competitive each week and not fall away as easily as last year.
"There is no worry of Friday night this week being a case of after the Lord Mayor's show for us in terms of our performance," Agar told the Mail.
"This week is a short turn around for us and that presents its own challenges, as do a very strong Huddersfield side.
"We know we will win some games and lose some games this season.
"But I also know this is a new group of players – with new standards and a desire – that means we will be competitive."
Agar has admitted he is yet to decide if his side which excelled at St Helens will remain unchanged.
The Hull coach does have that option, however, after Danny Tickle returned to training following an early exit at Knowsley Road where he sustained an eye injury.
Winger Mark Calderwood, who missed the opening round fixture with a hamstring injury, will not feature, but is expected to be available to face Crusaders on February 21.
ONLY 500 seats remain in the East Stand for this Friday's game against Huddersfield at the KC Stadium.

“What 10,5 is really trying to say is that with kr's weak squad they had to play all the kids to try and give them experience before the season starts knowing he will have to use them in the season. A few injuries and kr will be screwed and its great they cannot use it as an excuse just like they told us we couldn't.”

“10-5 - Another day another load of rubbish. Everyone has to prove themselves again. Its a new season you fool. No points on the league table for how you finished last year. Everyone starts from 0!
If your team burnout its because the squad aren't good enough. Are you seriously suggesting a professional RL player would deliberately give less than 100 % every time. You gave it your best shot against a very average Bradford squad and only stayed in the game because of the poor weather conditions which leveled it for you.”

“sorry 10-5 you dont grasp the concept of rugby league, no team or players treat anygame of rugby as a pee about, maybe if you have played the game you would no that, it dont matter if its a freindly or a final you go out to win and give a good account of youselves, what a muppet.”

“kev, you are a typicle duller who believes the hype that comes out of the kfc,if you are on about a certain telecoms company that comes from this area they did the dirty on rovers who dumped us and sponserd warrington instead and the bullyvard deal for 750k was done after it was independently valued at 140k,my point is we may have had a small amount of help from the council from time to time but not 44m”
