HULL KR: £8.2m North Stand given council go-ahead
HULL City Council has given the financial go-ahead for a new £8.2m north stand development at Hull KR's Craven Park.
The council's cabinet approved the funding package for the project at a meeting this morning.

An artists' impresssion of how the new stand will look
It will see a new 2,600-seat stand being built at the ground along with a state-of-the-art enterprise complex for apprentice training and new business start-ups.
Funding will come from council borrowing and European grants with Hull KR meeting some of the cost through annual rental payments on the new stand.

Rovers hope work will start on site early next year, with the stand open for the 2013 season.
It follows delays over the project due to the previous plans being costed too low at £6.5m, leading to the process, and tendering for the work, having to be started again.

“Raging bull. Fantastic post from you which smacks of jealousy at the fact we have overtook you on the pitch, our youngsters are coming through the system at craven park while your best youngsters are going to leeds, you keep buying fatboys and old men,you have got rid of your best players, shaun briscoe, danny brough, luke briscoe, carvell, schofield went, crooks, mcnamara went even radford went at their best to other clubs.Lets face it you are a feeder club to big clubs. What I should worry about is why your photos have been taken down at the KC,they have been there for years, why suddenly take them down till the rugby season starts.Dont it seem strange thicko ?”

“Raging idiot. Do you not know the government take your income tax not the council? Also your ability to do the sums shows that any income tax actually spent on your education was a total waste. So please don't lecture on about wasting money, you haven't got the skill nor the brains.”

“Plopforward08
You could be onto something there. Maybe he is a KR fan
Makes you wonder after the recent events at the KC if the SMC are rugby fans.
Apparently all the Hull FC plaques and framed shirts taken down without them knowing are now for
sale on EBay.
