Joel Clinton is joining Rovers, as the Mail predicted last week
Broncos, having secured Melbourne's prop Scott Anderson for 2010, were willing to grant the former Penrith forward a release from the final year of his contract.
It comes after the Mail revealed that Clinton was set to sign for the Robins last Tuesday.
Rovers' coach Justin Morgan told the Mail he was an admirer of the prop, and that given KR's links to Clinton's agent, David Riolo, that they were well placed to secure his services.
Rovers are believed to have beaten off competition from at least two other Super League clubs to land Clinton.
