HULL KR: No loan cover as Dobson injury opens door to youth
HULL KR coach Craig Sandercock will not seek loan cover for Michael Dobson's one-month injury absence and could opt to give youth a chance.
Dobson will miss the games against St Helens, Warrington, Widnes and Salford after being ruled out for four weeks because of a knock to the shoulder sustained in Sunday's 22-10 win at Wakefield.

Out for four weeks: Hull KR's Michael Dobson
Joining prop Ryan O'Hara, stand-off Blake Green and skipper Ben Galea on the sidelines, his absence means Sandercock is facing an early injury crisis.
Sandercock said on Sunday that he would wait and see how long Dobson might be out of action for before deciding whether to look for a loan signing.
But rather than seek to make a loan addition, the Aussie coach will stick with the players he has and promote a couple of youngsters into his first team.
That means Kristian Bell and Matty Beharrell, who both played against Wigan in pre-season, could be given their chance, although Sandercock is exploring all possible options.
"We have two training sessions to go and I'm trying a few things out at half-back," he told the Mail.
"I'll wait until the final training session before deciding who to go for.
"I need to pick the players that will do what we want to do against St Helens.
"The kids are in contention for the game this weekend. They have been in Australia for a couple of weeks and I want to see what they can offer.
"I'm looking closely at St Helens to see what we need."
Dobson's injury is the last thing Sandercock needed so soon into his tenure as Robins coach.
With Dobson, Green and Galea all ruled out, his three captaincy candidates are all now missing.
Facing a St Helens side who will arrive at MS3 Craven Park looking to reach Old Trafford for the seventh year in a row, Sandercock's next skipper will be named just before kick-off.
"Four or five players have showed good signs of leadership," said Sandercock. "But I'll decide later in the week."
However, the good news for Sandercock and Rovers is that Dobson's injury was the only one picked up at Wakefield.
"Injuries are part of the game," said the Aussie coach.
"When I was at Newcastle, we lost key players early in the season too.
"I see these problems as opportunities for other players, who may not have had that opportunity before.
"Michael's injury is the best case scenario and hopefully he will respond well to treatment."
BLAKE Green (blood clot) will have a scan at the end of the month which should determine how long he will eventually be out for.
Skipper Ben Galea could be back for the Good Friday derby on April 6 while Ryan O'Hara is making a slower recovery and could face Bradford at home on March 10.

“Poor LetThe'Truth' has had a bit of a bashing tonight. I bet his poor teddy has come in for some stick too (in more ways than one.)
When his dad finds out what he's been up to there will be no more imaginary trips to Perpignan for a while.”

“Letthe'truth' You wish I would go away? Not a chance, Getting too hot for you is it? Well tough.
You are still squirming. Lets try it this way then. Can you post a link to substantiate your comment about a Rovers Board member being convicted?
By by the way your comments about Stansted mean nothing to me, I have made no point whatsoever with regard to the place. I believe Forest replied to that one. You think that it's an easy way out to say I'm Forest so you won't answer the question. Well I'm not, let's see your link.
By the way, is Teddy ok?”
