Donating and shopping with Mind helps support the one-in-four people in the UK who will experience mental distress each year.

Mr Vale said: "Now more than ever, we need the support of people and so urge anyone who can to please pop in to the store and help us to continue our fundraising work for Mind."

Wanted items include clothes, accessories, books and bric-a-brac – especially any unwanted Christmas gifts.
