HULL: A launch party for a balance machine will have a Valentine's theme.

Age UK Hull is launching free 30-minute sessions on the machine every Monday.

The machine helps improve balance and is part of a nationwide campaign to reduce the number of falls older people have.

The launch party for the equipment is on Monday, February 11, from 11am.

There will be Valentine's Day theme, with a tasting of food to promote strong bones and a healthy heart.

There will also be a free prize draw and information and advice from Age UK on health and wellbeing.

Postural stability instructor Abbie Sutton said: "People are very wary of having a fall, particularly in bad weather.

"These exercise classes will help to improve core balance and stability."
