It is Lizzie's first year as head shepherd at Bishop Burton College, but she has seen it all before. She trained at the college and has been part of many births, although it never gets old, no matter how many she witnesses.
"It's such a tense waiting game for the last few weeks before they start lambing," Lizzie said.

"It's amazing when they come out and start shaking their heads and bleating, then start wobbling to their legs," she says.
