Hessle woman who stabbed partner as he slept dumps him from prison
A MAN who proposed to the woman who stabbed him as he slept has revealed she has ended their relationship from jail.
Gregory Todd took an engagement ring to court to ask Tiffany Baillie to marry him before she was sentenced for the attack that almost killed him.

'I hate you': Tiffany Baillie was jailed for three years for stabbing Gregory Todd, who later proposed to her at Hull Crown Court. She has now ended the relationship.
Baillie, 33, was jailed for only three years because of Mr Todd's pleas for leniency. She later agreed to marry him during a phone call from prison.
However, Mr Todd, 49, said she has written to him from prison to end their relationship.

He spent three months in hospital after Baillie plunged a 12in kitchen knife into his back with "substantial force" as he slept at their flat in Trinity Court, Hessle.
Mr Todd said: "I wanted to help her get a lighter sentence by proposing. When she said 'yes', I was over the moon.
"After Tiff was jailed, we wrote letters to each other every day. People told me I was crazy but Tiff told me she had bought a wedding dress.
"She spoke to me about how wonderful life would be and I was convinced we'd be together.
"Then I got the letter from her. I was devastated."
Baillie wrote: "I hate you. I hated living with you and it never would have worked out.
"We have been apart too long."
After the attack, Mr Todd needed emergency surgery to repair damage to his left kidney, pancreas and colon. Doctors said without it he would have died.
Baillie admitted causing grievous bodily harm with intent at Hull Crown Court.
Mr Todd took a white gold and diamond engagement ring to court and proposed to her through her barrister Paul Genney.
After she was sentenced, Baillie told the Mail: "I'm very sorry that it happened.
"I'm just looking forward to getting married and going home now and getting on with our life together.
"I really appreciate all that's been done for me. I love him so much."
The court heard she stabbed Mr Todd, a chef at The Weir Bar in Hessle, after the couple argued on a night out on December 4, 2011.
Baillie is due to be released from prison in June.

“What a 2 faced, deceitful, game playing Beeeatch. She has suckered this guy in well and truly and all in order to get a lighter sentence.
Mr Todd should be counting his blessings right now and obtaining an injunction order for when this conniving bag is released.”

“@exbevelonian. You did read it correct. The sentence would not have been 18 months if it had been a man stabbing a woman. Probably would have been 10 years. Typical sexist sentencing by this bunch of clowns in Hull Court.”

“All men should follow a code - dump all women at the first sign they are mental. This would solve all manner of problems and those females with self esteem/daddy issues to address their problems instead of projecting them onto hapless blokes all the time. It's getting so difficult (nigh on impossible) finding a woman who isn't either totally dull or a complete basket case now/”
