“"I dont like Joe longthorn or his family. They take more from the state in benefits than Joe has ever given to charity or paid in tax."
How is that even vaguely relevant?
As far as I'm aware I've never heard Mr Longthorne's warblings and I have no desire to do so but quite why he should be held responsible for the employment status of his family I have no ides.”

“The rating arrows make me chuckle. Froggy39 points out the charity work that this guy has done (and he has) and points out national media's constant digging at our city. -39? Really.

“I hope to hell he salutes Auld Lillybet and gives her his best Shirley Bassey - other wise I'll be setting up a petition to have his Membership revoked.”

“Of course, anyone who genuinely goes out of their way to raise money for charity deserves our respect - but so far as MBEs are concerned, I really can't understand why Jean Bishop (aka "The Bee Lady") whose story was reported in this newspaper last Friday hasn't already been awarded one.”

“Sorry froggy39 but he's just a thug from a family who have watched too many episodes of The Sopranos.”
