Off The Hook in Haxey with Isle production
THEATRE-goers will welcome the return of farce to the Haxey stage.
Off The Hook by Derek Benfield is being performed by Haxey Amateur Dramatic Society.

Jeremy Cooper (Harold Spook), John Spittlehouse (Fred Baxter) and Nigel Smith (Charlie Mullins) are back together again for the first time in a while in lead roles.
Set in Hook House Hotel, Baxter, Mullins and Spook are intent on recovering a hoard of cash, but Baxter's cunning plan is wrecked by the bungling Mullins and spineless Spook. Some of the other guests also have designs on the cash, while others are just horrified at the unseemly goings-on. Joan Young is the haughty battleaxe, Mrs Fletcher-Brewer, outraged by pretty well everything, but particularly the liaison forming between her daughter Carol and Mullins.

Peter Lindley, treasurer of Haxey Amateur Dramatic Society, said: "Danielle McCormick and Hannah Rockett both make their debut at Haxey. They share the role of the demure and charming Carol.
"Meanwhile Polly Parkinson and her father, played respectively by Sheila Morrell and Colin Emery, spring their different surprises.
"Attempting to keep order over his guests and staff is the trigger-happy hotel proprietor Major Catchpole (Peter Lindley), but lusty wife Norah (Dianne Corbett) and hotel cleaner Edna (Celia Boardman) frustrate his best efforts."
The play is staged at Haxey Memorial Hall at 7.30pm tomorrow (March 15), Saturday (March 16) and again on March 22 and 23. Tickets, at £5, are on sale at Greenhill Stores, Haxey, from 9am-5pm. Call 01427 754294 for more details.
