Hull City: Leicester links are 'irritating' says Pearson
HULL City manager Nigel Pearson appeared to rule himself out of a return to Leicester City this afternoon, saying he was finding continuing speculation of a return to the Foxes 'irritating'.
Pearson has been linked with the position throughout the week, alongside other candidates such as Huddersfield boss Lee Clark and former Sunderland and Ipswich manager Roy Keane.
With Clark ruling himself out of the running this afternoon, and with bookies odds shortening on the City manager, Pearson faced questions over his future again at the club's media day today.
But he was emphatic in his response, suggesting he will remain at the Tigers.

"We're trying to build for a game," Pearson said.
"I've got no control over what happens anywhere else and I'm not interested in talking about anything outside of us.
"I just find it a bit irritating if I'm honest, you know what I'm like. So I suggest we close it there."
