Hull City: Myhill set for West Brom move
HULL City goalkeeper Boaz Myhill looks set to join West Brom tomorrow in a £1.5m deal, the Mail understands.
The 27-year-old arrived at City as a bargain buy of £50,000 from Aston Villa seven years ago and has played an unforgettable role in changing the face of the Tigers.

Boaz Myhill
He has been City's dependable keeper through the club's rise from the bottom to the Premier League, playing a total of 277 games in the amber and black of the Tigers.
He lost his place to Matt Duke last season, and has missed much of the pre-season through injury.
Myhill recently told the Mail he was not seeking a move from City and would be happy to remain at the club in the Championship this season.
However, the Mail understands City's need to raise more funds through transfer sales has made the move unavoidable as he was one of few able to command a transfer fee.

“Ric ¿ it¿s hypocritical and just plain poor to say to someone ¿good luck and thanks for your excellent service¿ and list his faults, all in the same breath. You have not ¿burst my bubble¿ but I did think you had more about you than this, as your comments seem to have progressed to those that seem to get some gratification from conducting petty campaigns against other posters. I make comment about the content of the posts and not the individual who makes it, unless that person turns on me then I consider them a knob and usually let them know that. Try reading some of the stuff that folk have wrote about Bo, it is on the wrong thread and needlessly stated when alongside sentiments of thanks and good luck.
I did say yours was not the worse and I don¿t mind anyone voicing their opinion, these are simply on the wrong thread. I have always been a supporter of Bo, in preference to Duke, although I have criticised him on specific mistakes when discussing games.
Lambrettaman ¿ I have often sat behind the goal and seen Bo looking for a player who wants the ball and I bet you can guess the rest. . . . . .”

“Alan, my post was tongue in cheek, but accurate all the same, one of the best shot stoppers in the league, one of the worst at distribution and commanding his area.
It's a shame that we're selling off players who really don't want to leave, while having to keep hold of players we really want to leave, but that's the reality of the situation we're in unfortunately.”

“Myhill is just following suit to Turner ! Both made it clear to the press that they did not want to leave City but really wanted to simply look after them selves and stuff the fans opinions and loyal support over the seasons.
Duke and Oxley are far better experienced keepers and the drop from the dream division was a lot to do with Myhils silly errors towards the end of last season.”

“Is there nobody in City's management capable of buying and selling players. They are practically giving away players for peanuts and their buying acumen speaks for itself. Not only are they desperate men they are stupid with it!-Patience running out!!!”

“Thanks Bo & goodbye. Think we can afford to let go & hope Oxley is promoted; it's time for him to step up! Back-up to Carson at WBA but think the price is ok. Do we really need another gk? See Holloway at Blackpool says he's only got a squad of 15/16....”
