HULL CITY: Tigers confirm Ghilas leaving on French loan
HULL City have confirmed that out-of-favour striker Kamel Ghilas is to join French side Arles-Avignon on a season long loan.
The 26-year-old is expected to conclude his move today after being told he will not feature prominently in Nigel Pearson's plans in the Championship.

Kamel Ghilas
Ghilas, who has another three years remaining on his City deal, has struggled to pin down a first-team place since arriving from Celta Vigo in a £2.6m deal 12 months ago.
A move to Arles-Avignon will allow the Algerian chance to kick-start his career and help the Tigers recoup some of their losses. It is understood the French outfit will pick up all of his £16,000 a week wages.
Ghilas managed just one Premier League goal in 13 appearances last season, scoring the winner against Bolton last August.

“Can't believe they gave Ghilas a 4 year deal to start with( and 3 yrs still to run). Another idiotic signing of a virtually unknown and untested player by the previous management. They would have signed a donkey if it had long eyelashes and winked at them!!”

“Can we not give Bullard a spray tan and dye his hair black and send him in Ghilas's place?”

“he'll be back better than he was ready to replace the headless chicken when we need him and we will. He'll be back in the Algeria side before any of his "replacements" on the right wing are doing anything, good luck Kamel if ever there was a poor example of Browns man management it was you.

“Wages paid in full ? Happy days.
With Myhill also seemingly on his way, that new striker can't be too far off.”
