Hull City: Tom Cairney says he will be out for three months
Hull City midfielder Tom Cairney says the knee injury he suffered at Doncaster will keep him out for three months.
Cairney travelled to see a specialist in Sheffield after what boss Steve Bruce described as a "horror tackle" at the Keepmoat.
City had initially feared Cairney would be sidelined for six months.
Cairney tweeted today: "I'm gonna be out for about 3 months with this knee injury it could of been worse but still a long road to get back fit."
