Hull City midfielder Tom Cairney says the knee injury he suffered at Doncaster will keep him out for three months.

Cairney travelled to see a specialist in Sheffield after what boss Steve Bruce described as a "horror tackle" at the Keepmoat.

Cairney tweeted today: "I'm gonna be out for about 3 months with this knee injury it could of been worse but still a long road to get back fit."
