Hull City defender Danny East joins Gillingham's promotion push
HULL City defender Danny East has joined League Two leaders Gillingham on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has already spent time out on loan at Northampton Town this term but has only recently recovered from three months out with a back injury.
East, who is out of contract at the KC Stadium this summer, will hope to show enough that he could yet earn a future with his hometown club, as well as providing the Gills with a lift as they chase promotion to League One.
Gillingham boss Martin Allen said: "He's a character, a winner, he's tenacious, bombs forward, he's a good athlete and he'll be good for us.
