Hull City look at Australian goalkeeper Mat Ryan
Hull City have looked at Australian goalkeeper Mat Ryan, Steve Bruce confirmed today.
But it is understood the club's interest has advanced no further so far, despite claims Down Under that the 20-year-old's arrival at the KC Stadium is imminent.
The Sydney Morning Herald said the Tigers were trying to sign Ryan on a three-year deal.
The Central Coast Mariners youngster is Mark Schwarzer's understudy in the Australian national team.

“As a City supporter down under, it' will be good to see another Aussie in the team with great caliber, after the departure of Garcia to the scum, Heart.
He's in the 2011/2012 season keeper of the year and Central Coast are top of the League table at the moment.”

“As an Aussie who regularly watches the A-League, this kid is class. Obviously, the Australian league is nowhere near the calibre of the Championship, but at just 20 years old and in his third consecutive season as the Mariners starting keeper, he's been one of the best players in the entire competition.
Let's hope Brucey manages to snag him as he's set to go on a free at the end of the season. He'd be a terrific replacement for Amos, who hasn't looked comfortable all season, although I'd still be keen to see what Jakupovic can do. Let's hope he gets the nod this weekend.”
