“Manager of the Month? What is this,Butlin's,or McDonald's?
Fairly sure Steve Bruce couldn't care less.Employee of the month? Stephen Quinn,David Meyler? Or whoever in the Physio Dept keeps Robert Koren or Sone Aluko fit? If the snow falls as anticipated once Rugby League has started, and we keep a playing surface as good as it is now, give the inane 'Award' to Mark Harrison, for providing a surface that puts our playing style to best advantage.
What a monumental load of tosh, just for a feeble, fleeting moment to say 'Heh,look at MY team!' Let's do THAT when we get to The Premier League, but even there the sands are shifting constantly, but at least we know for sure that when we make it we'll have a very decent chance of impressing many who'd normally write us off.And I don't mean the Tired Crew on MOTD,where the same team can be 'nailed on' or 'written off ' in about a fortnight, but those who represent Sky,where at least you get sufficient airtime to show what you can do,and analysts whose job it is to examine your team's play in detail.
Let's just be Team of the Year 2014,in the eyes of the wider public, when our football team has us all swollen with pride!”

“Steve Bruce by a country mile. It might even get one line on your back page like the Meyer and Brady signings did yesterday. Over £5m shelled out by City for two international players from premier league clubs and it gets one line in the local newspaper.
But the riveting news which covered the back page and the next two insides ones was a thumb injury to a rugby league player, three/four weeks before the start of the season, which both clubs already know they cannot be relegated.”

    “Off topic.

Steve Bruce has apologised for remarks he made about Cameron Srewart after the orient game.

Steve Bruce also says Cameron is a beast in training and he is in his plans .

Good news I reckon because Cameron Stewart is deffo a decent player who will improve under a manager as good as SB.

( all what was said to Burnsey from SB , and posted on burnseys twitter site )”

“Personally I hope that SB gets the award every month between now and May, we all know what that would mean, and I honestly think that he's capable of it!”
