“Worryingly, David Stockdale is "Leeds-born". Let's hope he doesn't deliberately let the ball through his legs if he plays against "The Peacocks" on December 29th. Only joking - it's another shrewd move by Brucie.”

    ."Why?"
    .
Because Amos is not as good as people think and Brucie dare not try Jakupja***** (spelling).”

“Didn't Phil Brown try to sign Stockdale when he played for Darlington or some other obscure team?
Great to see the Allams backing SB with hard cash over these loan deals. Where are all the Allam knockers now?
We still need another striker in my opinion, Fraizer Campbell is only a bench warmer this season.”

“Getting Ben Amos in was a good move at the time, but I dont think SB thought we would be in such a strong position in the table at this stage, so of course wants to strengthen the keeper situation.
Amas has dropped several clangers, at the same time some good saves too, but if we are going to be in the promotion mix we must have an experienced keeper.
Someone mentioned Myhill, but he was flakey on crosses, didn't command his area, distribution was poor, even though he was probably in he top 3 'shot-stoppers' in the Premier League -well, he had loads of shots to stop didn't he! Will never forget his brilliant display v. Spurs away when we got totally pummelled, but they could not beat Myhill.”

“MickeyLove1 - Experience? Amos will undoubtedly be a quality keeper in the future but he's making too many mistakes and jeopardising the promotion push. SB always said he'd only bring in loanees that improve the squad - there's your answer”
