The 28-year-old has also become an instant hit with Hull City fans scoring five times in seven outings since joining on loan from Al Ahly in January.

Speaking to Egyptian journalists, Bradley said Gedo will lead his attack alongside Basel FC star Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian national team will host Zimbabwe at the Borg El-Arab stadium in Alexandria. The Pharaohs are leading Group G with six points, five points ahead of third place Zimbabwe, who have only gained one point.

Gedo's fellow Egyptian stars Ahmed Elmohamady and Ahmed Fathi have also been named in Egypt squad for the African world cup qualifier.

“With all citys links to Eygpt I'm keen to follow the national team. Maybe the Allam's should start showing the Eygpt matches at the KC bar, would sure beat trying to stream some low grade broadcast off the web, I for one would be up for it. Or maybe we could pop down to AA's gaf and watch it there, I'm sure he must have a big satalite dish with it on.”
