Hull City transfers: Gedo and Fathi deals done but DJ Campbell set for Blackburn
Hull City have officially confirmed loan deals for striker Gedo and right-back Ahmed Fathi.
The Al Ahly duo have signed until the end of the season.

Ahmed Fathi in action for Egypt.
They will be joined at the KC Stadium by Egyptian teammate Ahmed Elmohamady, who has returned from Sunderland for a second loan spell.
However, the Tigers' pursuit of QPR striker DJ Campbell looks under serious threat after he underwent a medical at Championship rivals Blackburn.

“More and more untried foreign players untried in the Championship and the British football league This is without doubt the behind scenes influences of the owners Dare I say it and wait for the supporters of Allams wrath, this does not show the true commitment to investing in a team fit for the English Premier league”

“DJ Campbell goosed himself big style Pigman
his deal for more cash at Blackburn failed to go through !!!!
ROFL
Back to QPR Reserves he goes when he could have been playing for the mighty Tigers
with every chance of getting back to the premier league..”

“Let's be clear,as mud is clear I suppose, but Blackburn have displayed an incompetence that seems to epitomise their club right now.Insufficient time to complete the paperwork? Not that surprising if you leave quite technical matters to the very last minute, while Hull City were all patience and preparation, and lost out to DJ Campbell's try-it-on agent, who himself has now screwed everything up,for all those bidding for him,for QPR,for his client, and for the eejit agent himself.
Campbell still has his contract at QPR,presumably, but this is a negotiation that he and his current agent have resoundingly lost, and he won't get a better deal in the summer, far from it.Surely not a tale of Greed and Hubris? In football? I don't believe it,surely not...”

“A case of mixed feeling maybe Fantasist ?
Still there E loan window opens in a weeks time..
wouldnt be suprised to see City bringing in a goal scorer on loan
IF needed...
Elmo may just provide all the crosses that Gedo and Prossie need to bang the goals in”

“prossie & Simpson are poor strikers, Simpson in particular is absymal
We will struggle until Aluko comes back, let's hope we are still in the top 6 by the time that happens.
But saying Gedo might be pure class.”

“Well that's the transfer window shut.
HULL CITY have signed Meyler and Brady .
We have signed stockdale on loan though I " think " Fulham can recall him if need be.
We have signed 2 Egyptians on 6 month loans in Gedo and Fathi.
The best news of the night in my opinion is we have got Elmo back for the rest of the season and he can't be recalled....
Rumour has it we were signing DJ Campbell and about to give him a medical only he vanished only to turn up at Blackburn...
They say he was offered more wages..
Seems to me we should be pleased we did not get stuck with him...
Gedo , lets hope he can produce goals.......
We now need Gedo , Simpson and prossie to score .
And hopefully have Aluko back soon.
A good transfer window YES.
BUT unusual for me I have a negative feeling also
Can't help but think we missed out on bringing in a proven championship goal scorer and that might come back to haunt us...
OBVIOUSLY Steve Bruce and The Allams have tried as hard as possible and it's not through lack of trying..
I said before the season we would finish in the top 6 and I still think we will.
NO SIGNING CAN EVER make an automatic place nailed on..
I guess as supporters we all wish we had got Becchio or wood or one of the Campbell's or Morrison.
One bright point is we can bring in emergency loans soon..
We might bring in a striker or two yet.
Mixed feelings I guess.
AIL ON ALL HULL CITY SUPPORTERS TO GET BEHIND THE TEAM
Get to the games IF you can.
Get behind the team and let's make lots of noise .
Hopefully we can make the top two places or win the play offs.
Fingers crossed....
We ' Might ' be going up come may.......
Off topic I think QPR will live to regret today ....
I wouldn't be surprised if they don't end up in the same boat as Portsmouth.
So.....what's everyone else's honest opinion about our position now ?”

“well windows closed... fairly happy. min signings are brady and elmo. congrats to bruce and allams for standing upto over priced demanding strikers. (both campbells) this shows development in our team and im so glad we are not being held randsom by players. BREAKING NEWS JUST NOW... DJ Campbell to blackburn FALLEN THROUGH.”
