Hull FC at Bradford: Gentle will accept nothing less than a win
PETER Gentle has told his Hull FC players he won't accept anything other than a victory at Bradford this evening.
With the play-offs looming large and Gentle eager to see his side develop a winning mentality, the Aussie insists a good performance alone is not satisfactory against the Bulls.

Already in the play-offs, Hull need a victory to stay on course for a home tie in the end-of-season shoot-out, while also looking for redemption after a season-worst display last time out at Widnes.
Aware his team are not favourites to win at Odsal against the in-form Bulls, and with Hull bidding to respond from a horror show at Widnes, the Hull coach says it's backs to the wall time for his boys.

"I won't be happy with a good performance and getting beat," explained Gentle.
"It is do-or-die this time of year and you need to win these games.
"I don't suppose we will be favourites as they have been playing well, but it's backs against the wall this time of year and we really need to win this game.
"This game is important in the context of what happened at Widnes. We embarrassed everyone involved with the club that night, from the supporters, to the administrators of this club, the players who didn't play and those that did, everyone was embarrassed.
"It is important to get out there and show our determination and excitement about the play-offs coming up and show what we can do.
"It's important because we are trying to get a home tie in the semi-finals too. That has been our goal for some time now and it is still in our hands. There is everything to play for this weekend."

“What a win , expected Fc to rally but that was top drawer. However you look at it to go to Bradford ,who have been playing well and in contention for the eight and run them ragged like they did it was superb. They must have fed the Ogre raw meat he put in his best performance for a long while. Watts again showed what a mistake Rovers made letting him go. Heremia and Houghton ripped through the Bulls .Westerman also made up for his shocker at Widnes. Young Crooks playing two games ,what a star he is going to be. I said yesterday Fc had to give a good performance to give themselves a confidence boost ,well they did that”
